As the foliage began to fall off of the trees, I decided to take the long way to Morrisville, driving through Smugglers’ Notch and Stowe, to enjoy some end-of-the season foliage. I was not disappointed. Yes I went out of my way today, but I could, and I didn’t need to come from out of state to see the Vermont foliage. I live in it!
Vermont fall foliage is waning, but it’s not gone yet. The colors are still pretty. Below are Vermont fall foliage and community events to take part in, as a continuance of our fall festivities, here in the Jericho/Underhill area.
And if you’re longing for the long days of summer, here is a video of a local garden tour worth checking out: http://vimeo.com/73328605.
