The last time I did a blog on my current listings was four months ago. My goodness, how time flies and things change! I’ve had a significant turnover in my inventory of homes and land for sale in rural Vermont, so I thought it was time for an update on my current listings at Pleasant Valley Real Estate. I have quite a variety, from affordably priced homes for the first-time homeowner to large homes for big families, to a luxury home on Lake Champlain. I’m also listing three parcels of land, ranging from a 1.7-acre building lot to a 24.6-acre parcel that could be subdivided.
Here is an overview of my current listings.
This strikingly picturesque 3-bedroom, 2-bath luxury home was restored with an eye for quality and detail. It sits on 1.9 acres with 250 feet of lakefront and includes a three-floor carriage house with a delightful apartment for rental income.
I sold this home to the current owners nearly 20 years ago. They did an amazing job of renovating it. Here are some before and after shots:
Entrance side of house BEFORE and AFTER.
Garage BEFORE and AFTER (now has apartment rental on top floor)
If you are looking for a home in the country to raise a family, this could be the house for you. It has 4 bedrooms, 3+ baths, an open kitchen/dining room floor plan, a convenient laundry room, and a large mud room. It’s located on 17 peaceful acres at the end of a shared road. A garage apartment provides rental income. Everyone will love the in-ground pool, basement game room, and your own pond. The possibilities are endless for making this a private oasis.
Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sun rise over Mount Mansfield, or sip a glass of wine and watch the moon come up over the ridgeline. With jaw-dropping views of Mount Mansfield, this rural Vermont home offers end-of-road privacy on 10 acres, and there’s plenty of room for an active family. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open floor plan living area, a 2-car garage, and an enormous basement. Once you’re here you won’t want to leave!
This is a fabulous five or six bedroom house on 10 acres. It was once a large post-and-beam barn. The current owners converted it to a beautiful home in Pleasant Valley. The grand room has large sunny windows and there’s a guest room/bath and study on the main floor. Four bedrooms and two baths are upstairs, and they have a lot of built-in storage. The land has great potential for farm animals and large gardens. Water to paddocks and barn make it perfect for a small home-style farm. The car port has a heated work room and an attic for play or storage. This is a perfect set-up for a large family and has easy access on Pleasant Valley Road.
Rural, cozy, and sweet as can be, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has everything you need to get started in home ownership. Best of all it has a deck and pergola for outdoor living! The main entrance has the necessary mudroom, the kitchen has a soapstone sink and counter tops and plenty of storage, and there’s a nice wood-burning stove to keep you warm in winter. The on-demand hot water is awesome. Come check it out!
This pleasant ranch house is conveniently located in “The Flats” of Underhill. Its easy access on Route 15 makes getting places a snap. It’s close to Underhill, Jericho, and Essex. The private backyard is perfect for croquet, and there’s an outbuilding for lawn maintenance equipment and lawn games. 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, located in the ID school district. Pre-bate applies!
Located in Underhill Flats and within the village district, this lot is in a village community, with easy access to Vt. Route 15. Public water and Vermont gas are available; electric and phone are at site.
Here’s a nice lot if you’re looking to build a house with a view. The 3+ acres has 4-bedroom septic design and impressive views of Mt Mansfield.
This is an enviable parcel with subdivision possibilities located on Pleasant Valley Road. The 24+ acres has rolling meadow with mountain views and is fringed by woods. There’s a nice stream at the back of the lot. The land contains a large amount of gravel and has 5-acre zoning for most of the parcel. Engineering information is available if you’re interested.
