What lies beyond the doors of Stowe? Many people come to Stowe to experience skiing, hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor activities, but there’s a lot to do inside Stowe as well. Let’s take a peak at what you can find inside Stowe.
Bowling Inside Stowe
Strike it big at Stowe Bowl, Stowe’s one and only bowling alley. Food, cocktails, and games for kids, with fun to spare!
Stowe is an art appreciater’s paradise. It has over eight galleries featuring local and international artists. There’s also the Stowe Gallery Alliance. Check out their map for gallery locations.
Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center
One of the best venues for concerts in New England, the 420-seat auditorium is comfortable, intimate, and has fabulous acoustics. Every seat is a good seat. Check out their listings of upcoming events.
Swim laps, take a Spinning class, work out with weights, do some yoga. The Swimming Hole has it all. There’s also a play pool for the little ones.
Find a good book at the Stowe Free Library. They also have a lecture series, knitting for kids, story time, and more.
You’ve been on the mountain all day. You’re hungry and thirsty. Good thing Stowe has about 40 restaurants where you can warm up and drink up. Cheers!
