My Underhill real estate office is located above a bakery. Actually, it’s not just a bakery. It’s a country store. The Underhill Country Store. They do a lot of baking downstairs and the wonderful aroma of baked delights comes wafting up to my office every day.
As you can imagine, this presents a bit of a dilemma for me. The aroma of home-baked goods gives my office a pleasant and cozy feeling, but it’s hard to resist the temptation to wander down and check out the latest creations to come out of the oven. While I’m there, I might as well buy something delicious, right?
Owner Nancy Davis is a baker’s wizard. She makes unique tortes, pies, breads, and cookies. She also cooks up fabulous take-out dinners and salads, and the deli counter has a great selection of sandwiches. If you need a pie for Thanksgiving, come see what Nancy is offering. Choose from pumpkin, apple, chiffon, and more. Get your order in soon. Thanksgiving is almost here!
Support Your Local Country Store
Many rural towns in Vermont depend upon their local country stores for everyday needs that they can’t easily obtain because the drive to the larger markets is too far. Both the towns of Underhill and Jericho have country stores that excel at offerings for their local residents.
So, when you come pick up your Thanksgiving pie, come see me at Pleasant Valley Real Estate, located above the bakery… oops… I mean the Underhill Country Store.
